Operational Goal

1.: To avoid sharp turns. Westbound traffic crossing the gate EDGTLIRSU shall continue westbound across the Brussels sectors of Maastricht UAC.

2.: To support tactical handling of flights by ATC. Traffic crossing the small interface between the Olno and Delta sector of Maastricht UAC shall file via dedicated routing.

3, 4.: To avoid sharp turns Westbound traffic via the Luxembourg sector of Maastricht UAC or via Reims ACC shall file via NOSPA, BETEX, LIMGO or cross-border FRA options across gate EDGTPITES.

5.: LoA requirement Maastricht UAC / Karlsruhe UAC. Traffic shall plan the transition into the lower airspace before the FIR boundary between Germany / Luxembourg.
