Operational Goal

1.Traffic segregation above and below FL105. This traffic shall file VABIK

1.b., 1.d., 1.e., 1.f. Traffic on a Night Time Fuel Saving Route with ARR EB** may file via KONAN. The listed night time fuel saving routes are not available for traffic inbound to EH** or LF**. See Annex 3B entries for availability details.

1c. Standard route for these arrivals departing EGGW/WU is via VABIK. When M85 is closed traffic must route via U/M84 ABTUM which has no connectivity to VABIK therefore this traffic shall route via KONAN.

2.Max FL for traffic inbound to these airfields via KONAN.

3.To adhere to operational procedures and LOA. High level EGKK arrivals may enter UK airspace via KONAN to connect to the KONAN STAR but must route via KOK and be FL300 at KOK. This high level traffic must be crossing KONAN during the listed night time hours. Outside of these times, EGKK arrivals may only route via KONAN if very low level and cruising below FL125.
