Operational Goal
Due to proximity of the FBZ and listed airfields, to enable the listed departures and arrivals to transit low level through the active FBZ in accordance with agreements with the relevant authorities. When EGD701AZ2 is promulgated active in the AUP/UUP, EGPL/EGPR arrivals and departures are not permitted to file via the area above FL255 but may depart and arrive beneath that level.
Other traffic is subject to the applicable FUA restriction in Annex 2C and will not be permitted to transit through active levels of the FBZ.
