Operational Goal

Traffic orientation.

1.Traffic to specified aerodromes shall not plan via BLUFA if coming from the South or West. Traffic via BLUFA shall generally come from North to East.

2.During times when military activity can be expected within Amsterdam FIR, traffic via the N/UN sector of Copenhagen ACC shall file via EEL or KUBAT before BLUFA. In case of ad-hoc activation of military training areas, traffic on a direct track to BLUFA will not be able to overfly these areas and manage the descent to intercept the STAR profile. The route extension via EEL/KUBAT will ensure that the profile can be achieved.

3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Traffic orientation during military training area activity. Reference location for the dependent time applicability is BLUFA.

8.To avoid that flights are filing above an active military area when its upper limit, promulgated in the EAUP/EUUP, is lower than the standard value. During military activity, these flights shall plan a lateral re-routing; e.g. via ONTAZ.
